This Britney Spears saga seems to be never ending. The judge in the K.Fed/Spears custody case has released documents basically stating a lot of stuff we've already talked about.

One of the documents says, "Based on its investigation to date, it should be noted that DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services) has concerns of its own regarding the safety and welfare of the children if the children are left in the mother's care."

The DCFS also told the court that they "request that the father maintain custody, that the mother's visitation remain monitored, and that the mother continue to drug test, attend counseling and parenting classes, and that the mother undergo and evaluation" until their investigation is complete.

People don't seem to want to help Britney Spears. All they want to do is criticize on her parenting skills and talk a lot of shit. The girl barely goes out these days and spends all the time she is allowed by caring for her kids. I think it's time we give her the break she desperately needs.

Britney's "Blackout" Album Released

While your out buying Britney’s album, Brit-Brit is attending her parenting classes with K. Fed. The two had their second scheduled parenting session yesterday at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills.

Last week, Britney left the class in tears but this time around she seemed to be in higher spirits. 'Afterwards Britney drove off in what appeared to be a good mood,' an onlooker said.

Britney needs to keep it together if she wants 50/50 custody back with her kids. The Commissioner is said to make a ruling as soon as today.

Lucky for Britney Spears, L.A. keeps mug shots under wraps

If you are a celebrity with a nose for trouble, here's some advice: Stay within city limits or risk having your mug shot broadcast around the world.

Unlike Malibu, Santa Monica or Glendale, where law enforcement agencies release booking photos, the city of Los Angeles refuses to fork them over unless investigators decide a picture will help with a criminal investigation or they feel the public is in danger.

The latest celebrity to escape mug shot fallout was Britney Spears, who reported to a Los Angeles police station in suburban Van Nuys on Monday and was booked on charges of hit-and-run and driving without a valid license.

Stars accused of breaking the law in Los Angeles and some surrounding cities - including celebrity-rich Burbank and Beverly Hills - can consider themselves fortunate. Just ask Mel Gibson, Nick Nolte or Lindsay Lohan, who were caught in less-friendly precincts.

"There are certain photos that will follow them forever," said veteran Hollywood publicist Stan Rosenfield. "The mug shot alone doesn't get you the notoriety. It's the bad mug shot that stays with you."

Booking mugs have long been a standard for law enforcement agencies, and they become part of a person's criminal record. The Pinkerton National Detective Agency said it created the mug shot concept back in the 1850s when the pictures were attached to wanted posters.

As recently as a decade ago, suspects would be snapped holding a tablet with the date of their arrest and an assigned booking number. Many law enforcement agencies have scrapped that format thanks to digital cameras that can be linked to computer databases.

There is no question that celebrity mug shots are some of the most identifiable and most-used photos today because of an insatiable appetite for entertainment news.

There are the embarrassing - Hugh Grant getting arrested for lewd conduct with a prostitute in 1995.

There are the somewhat glamorous - a well-groomed, slightly smiling Paris Hilton after she went to jail earlier this year for violating her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.

And then there is the downright bizarre - a disheveled Nolte in a Hawaiian shirt, hair askew, after he was stopped for driving erratically on Pacific Coast Highway in 2002.

The most infamous booking mug might be O.J. Simpson's 1994 photo after he was arrested for investigation of murdering his former wife and her friend. He was later acquitted.

Grant's photo was the last known celebrity mug shot released by Los Angeles police, Lt. Roger Mora said. One of Hilton's booking shots taken by the LAPD was accidentally released by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Mora said the LAPD wouldn't rule out the release of a mug shot, but it would be at the department's discretion based on a "particular crime."

"Generally speaking, we don't release mug shots," Mora said. "We treat everyone equally."

Sheriff's officials release mug shots on a "case-by-case basis," spokesman Steve Whitmore said. He cited a 2003 opinion by then-California Attorney General Bill Lockyer that said mug shots are part of the investigative record that can be made available to the public.

"If there is a request for a booking photo, we check to make sure it wouldn't hurt an investigation," Whitmore said. "If it doesn't, we get approval and then release it.

"We don't treat celebrity photos any different. We look at inmates with an equality, regardless of their standing."

But do booking photos - both of celebrities and garden variety criminals - serve a higher purpose?

Rosenfield believes the release of the pictures "sensationalizes an arrest in most cases."

"I think it would be great," he said, "if booking photos weren't released, across the board."

I'm officially on Britney Spears overload! Like we reported earlier, Spears went to the courthouse in downtown LA to personally ask for overnight visits with her children.

L.A. County Court Commissioner Scott Gordon accepted her plea and agreed to give Spears ONE overnight visit a week.

Although she technically got what she asked for, Spears left the courtroom visibly upset and teary-eyed.

After court Brit decided to do some retail therapy. She went to Neiman Marcus for some shopping.

One of the perks of being a superstar is that it frees you from worrying about the little things, like what clothes to wear to a photo shoot, how to style your hair, how you're getting to the recording studio and where your next meal is coming from.

Sure, hands-on multitaskers like Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake and Gwen Stefani make a point of being involved in even the most minute decisions about their next project or a product bearing their name, but they also know when to let go and listen to the advice of their trusted teams of advisers, managers, publicists and assistants.

So why does it seem like Britney Spears — who is estimated to be worth more than $300 million — does everything on her own? From reportedly acting as her own publicist/manager/stylist to helping direct the still-unreleased video for her current hit, "Gimme More," to driving her two young children around Los Angeles (without a valid license) and picking the outfit for her ill-received VMA performance, Spears has been painted as an artist-as-island.

Reportedly feuding with her mom and recently dropped by both her attorney and manager, Britney not only doesn't follow the advice of the dwindling members of her professional team, according to reports, she appears determined to listen to no one but herself. And given some of her recent choices, the decision seems to be seriously affecting both her personal and professional lives — and it could have its roots in some troubling causes.

There are two likely reasons for this type of seemingly reckless go-it-alone behavior, according to Dr. Drew Pinsky — host of the syndicated radio show "Loveline" and a board-certified addictionologist — and both of them are potentially disastrous.

"Everyone is looking at this woman and trying to make rational the disease we call addiction, and it's not rational," said Pinsky, who is not treating Spears, but explained that the singer must be suffering from some form of addiction because a person cannot be admitted to a treatment center in California — as Spears was earlier this year — without meeting certain criteria for addiction. "Work, people we love, eating — everything is usurped by this desire to do drugs and alcohol, and all that thinking serves a broken motivation, so the things people do can look nutty because they're not making sense."

Someone suffering from what Pinsky speculates is a combination of different drug addictions in Spears' case is likely to act irrationally and suffer from paranoid delusions, usually directed at friends, family, co-workers and neighbors. Getting someone in that condition to listen to the advice of those around them is a major challenge.

Britney Spears put tanning and shopping aside to head back to the studio yesterday. Brit-Brit and her “cousin” Allie were at a Burbank studio yesterday working on some new stuff.

The two took a break from the studio and headed to Acapulco restaurant for some grubbin. When Britney came out of the restaurant she had a camcorder at hand. She was taping the chaos that is her life. I have a feeling we might be seeing Chaotic Part II sans Kevin Federline.

Oops! Hot Britney Spears Does it Again

After about a 3 year hiatus from singing the famous pop singer Britney Spears came back into the spotlight at the Video Music Awards.
Was it a good idea? Many people believe that this will cause the end of her career but
I still think that she is worth another chance. The reason I believe that she deserves another chance is because she has potential as an artist and she can still bounce back. She has been through a lot lately and she is on an emotional rollercoaster and she just needs to slow down before she can make rational decisions.

What would you do if you were in her place? She just got divorced after finding her husband cheating on her, she is being sued for custody for her kids, and she was recently released from rehab. These are all things that could be a downfall in her career.

She sang the song "Gimmie More" which will be her first single off her fifth upcoming
album. It is said that she worked closely with the new aspiring magician Criss Angel in order to launch her debut. However, I do not see what connection Criss Angel had with her performance. I did not see any magical illusions at all. Maybe the magic was that she came back to sing after three years.But most people would not call that performance magic.

She was barely dressed, goofed up a lot, and was clearly lip-synching. Unlike in the past
when her dance moves were actually enjoyable to watch this performance was painful for
me and most viewers. "I can't believe how much she messed up, her career is over," said
Rochelle Siegel, Senior.

However I still give her the benefit of the doubt because I know that if I was going through what she is going through I would want some sympathy.

She was neglected a true childhood. As soon as she joined "The Mickey Mouse Club" she was forced to grow up even though she hadn't reached her teen years yet. People can't really blame her for the way she is acting because she on the inside hasn't grown up yet and become her own person. The problem with that is she is trying to raise two children when really she is only a child herself, I can't even imagine the stress she is going through. Maybe performing is
her release and we just bashed her for it.

Simon Cowell the judge from Fox channels "American Idol" even had his own opinion about her performance. He was worried that her skit she pulled could have put the final nail in her career. He mentioned that if he was the one judging her
in a show he would not let her go through to the next round; I am guessing he meant she did badly.

She did bad, she messed up, but don't we all? I am sure she still has some dedicated
fans who will probably buy her album when it comes out. I just think she should stop making a fool of herself before she loses
all her fans.

The Video Music Awards had a lot of people talking, but not in a good way. If she made an effort to actually act her age then more
people would give her a chance. I think she is able to do it, but she needs to grow up.

Now that Britney Spears nude is almost a common sight - right, Matt Encinias? - the troubled singer has decided to change up her appearance a bit.

As she exited the set, Britney was spotted with a large diamond on her ring finger and had her so-called cousin Alli Sims in the car as she headed to a drive-in burger restaurant.

Sims has recently tried to launch her own music career, one that sees more promising already than that of Brit.

Britney Spears‘ cousin Alli Sims has denied the recent claims that Britney is bad at looking after her sons, Sean and Jayden.

Alli worked as an assistant to Britney until recently and the pair were frequently photographed together until Alli quit to launch her own music career.

She told People magazine recently that the two hadn’t fallen out as had been rumoured: “I was just [working for Britney] for a little while, and we had a great time together.”

“I love her, Britney Spears’s beautiful inside and out. We’re still great friends.”

Britney Spears added regarding Britney’s parenting skills: “[Britney]’s a wonderful mom and she is so hands-on. … Britney Spears loves those babies to death. And they adore her.”

However Britney Spears’s now ex-husband Kevin Federline is still likely to challenge the Toxic star for custody of the two boys.

Kevin’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan told Us Weekly that Kevin would like to remove the kids from the limelight: “He is someone who has gone out of his way to protect his kids as much as possible.”

“I don’t recall ever seeing a picture of him with his kids in tow out in public because he feels that could subject them to an unnecessary risk and doesn’t benefit them. His desire is that these kids have a chance to grow up free, in as normal an environment as possible.”

“He is a very focused parent who believes that any kids, but especially kids of this young age, need to have structure and consistency and that he has always provided that and wants to make sure that they get the benefit of that as much as possible.

Britney Spears to Sing and Dance Live on Cindy Lauper Tour

Britney Spears is set to "surprise" fans with a one-off appearance on Cyndi Lauper's True Colors tour when it stops in Los Angeles on Saturday. The singer will perform one song at the Greek Theatre gig, which will also feature Lauper, Erasure, Debbie Harry, The Dresden Dolls and The MisShapes with Jeffree Star.

Britney Spears will take to the stage with two female background dancers, her choreographer Misha Gabriel tells website www.People.com. She last appeared live in May, when she lip-synched her way though a series of brief 15 minute concerts at the House of Blues.

Radio station billboards that featured unflattering photos of a bald, scowling Sexxy Britney Spears have been taken down after the pop star's attorneys threatened legal action.

In a letter to Clear Channel Communications Inc. dated Thursday, Spears' attorneys accused the company of 'offensive, unauthorized commercial exploitation' of the 25-year-old singer, and demanded that the three billboards in the Tampa area be removed. The letter was posted on The Smoking Gun Web site.

The billboards, advertisements for WFLZ FM's 'The MJ Morning Show,' depicted a bald hot Britney Spears and show host Todd Schnitt along with the slogans 'Total Nut Jobs,' 'Shock Therapy' and 'Certifiable.'

'We have confirmed that the billboards are down,' Clear Channel spokeswoman Michele Clarke said Tuesday. She referred other questions to the Clear Channel offices in Tampa, whose representatives didn't immediately return a call seeking comment.

'Clear Channel has removed the billboards, and I'm not happy with that,' Schnitt told the St. Petersburg Times.

A call to the Los Angeles attorney who signed the letter to Clear Channel wasn't immediately returned Tuesday.

Julia Roberts Gives Birth to Baby Boy

(Reuters) - Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts gave birth on Monday to a baby boy, her third child with husband Danny Moder, People magazine reported on its Web site.

Roberts and Moder, who are also parents of two-year-old twins, welcomed Henry Daniel Moder at a Los Angeles hospital, her spokeswoman told People.

"The Moder family is doing great," Marcy Engelman said.

Engelman was not immediately available for further comment.

Roberts, 39, who won an Academy Award for playing the title role in the 2000 film "Erin Brockovich," married Moder, a 38-year-old cameraman, in 2002 at her ranch in New Mexico.

Roberts gave birth to twins Phinnaeus and Hazel in November of 2004.

Lohan Behold -- Again. Lindsay Lohan headed back to rehab Tuesday, after what appeared to be another lost weekend. The New York Post says Lohan kept partying in spite of her recent DUI arrest, and could be seen passed out in her SUV on Memorial Day.

``A series of shocking photos show a rubber-limbed Lohan stumbling out of the trendy club Teddy's at the Roosevelt Hotel, then sprawled in the front passenger seat of her black GMC, her head lolling back, her mouth agape and her heavy-lidded eyes firmly shut,'' says the Post. ``Lohan was so out of it, a witness said, that she wasn't even aware of the flashes from paparazzi snapping the photos.'' ``Sources tell TMZ that the former OC star was at a friend's Memorial Day BBQ enjoying a few holiday cocktails when she began to feel extremely ill,'' says the site. ``Mischa, who has been quite sick with bronchitis since traveling to Cannes, London and Paris the past several weeks, apparently didn't get the memo -- you can't drink alcohol while taking antibiotics!''

Fashion Flap. The New York Daily News says Liza Minnelli wants the

Halston tunic worn by Ilse Werther in Real Simple magazine -- because Minnelli says it's hers.

Halston reportedly gave it to Werther's mother, artist-designer Maj Kalfus, after she worked with Halston, who died in 1990. But since Halston designed it for Minnelli, why not give it to the singer? Kalfus told the Daily News that ``because of Minnelli's weight fluctuations, the dress didn't fit her by the time it was finished.''

Hot Britney Spears Slips Up at Orlando Gig

The singer was performing her fifth comeback show at Orlando's House of Blues when her background track skipped, forcing her to look away. She also performed in Miami Sunday night.

Hot Britney Spears was left red-faced during a 14-minute concert in Florida Saturday night when her background track skipped revealing once and for all the pop superstar is lip syncing her comeback.

The singer was performing her fifth comeback show at Orlando's House of Blues when the incident happened, forcing the singer to look away as technicians raced to get the tape back on track.

The pop star and her M+M's dancers took to the stage at 9:30pm ET to perform for the sold out crowd, and opened the show with her classic "...Baby One More Time."

Unlike the series of concerts she performed at House of Blues venues in California and Las Vegas earlier this month, this show didn't quite go as planned. But despite the brief musical mishap, Spears looked like she was having fun onstage.

Britney Spears ended the set with a shortened version of "Toxic" and then left after telling the crowd, "Thank you so much for being here. You're awesome. I love you!"

Britney Spears also performed a second Florida show at Miami's Mansion Sunday night.

Failed rapper Kevin Federline has slammed Britney Spears' new man as "trash".

The estranged husband of the 'Toxic' singer was unimpressed when, he heard Howie Day had spent the night at Britney's house reports Female First.

A gossip told America's Star magazine: "When Kevin heard they had a
sleepover at her house, everyone wanted to know about it. He lit up a cigarette and said he guessed you have to head to the dump to
find trash, referring to how Britney and Howie met while in rehab."

Britney Spears's friends and family fear , the troubled singer is digging a deeper grave with her relationship to Howie Day, 26.

Her mum Lynne has questioned Howie Day's motives, but 25-year-old Britney refuses to listen reports NOW Magazine.

In 2004, Howie was arrested for reportedly locking a fan in the bathroom of his tour bus after she allegedly refused his sexual advances, plus breaking the mobile phone of another who was trying to call the police.

The next year, he was arrested in Boston for verbally abusing a flight crew while under the influence of alcohol and sleeping pills.

The 'Toxic' singer – who shaved her head after suffering a breakdown, just days before entering a rehab facility – is still wearing wigs, but her dancer doesn't think she needs to.

Backing dancer Crisilla Crossland told the Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper: "It's grown about two inches and it looks hot. She looks so good she should model. She joked to us 'Would y'all cut your hair?' But none of us have.

Britney Spears movie' comeback is going to tale place a lot faster than most thought. Yep, Britney Spears' much anticipated comeback begins next week. Britney spears has got fans buzzing about when she'll make her big comeback performance after reportedly pulling the plug on a show in Los Angeles late on Wednesday night.

Britney Spears reportedly spent all day Tuesday rehearsing at Ivan Kanes Forty Deuce, where she swapped costumes with dancers in December. On the club's website, boss Ivan Kane says, "She came on stage during rehearsals, looking very hot, with four back-up dancers and sang three songs ... they ran through the set several times, the choreography was smokin', and she sounded great."

She was supposed to perform Wednesday night but apparently decided that she needed more time to rehearse for her comeback performance, and left fans extremely disappointed.

We do know, however, that Britney spears is scheduled to perform next Wednesday at the Anaheim House of Blues under the band name M+M's. We have comfirmed this from two additional sources. The "band" will also be playing the Sunset Strip HOB on Thursday.

According to our tipster, the M+M's consist of Britney pics and "3 or 4 back up female dancers."

Trouble Brewing for Britney Spears' Father

Britney Spears' father has criticized the troubled pop princess' decision to fire her longtime manager Larry Rudolph, after he forced her to go into rehab.

Rudolph was given his walking papers last week, reportedly because of his intervention after a difficult start to the year, during which Spears partied every night for a month and then shaved her head.

Jamie Spears claims Rudolph was chosen by the singer's family to encourage her to seek help at Malibu, California's Promises Clinic in February.

He tells PageSix.com, "When Larry Rudolph talked Britney Spears into going into rehab, he was doing what her mother, father and team of professionals with over 100 years of experience knew needed to be done. She was out of control. Larry was the one chosen by the team to roll up his sleeves and deliver the message, to help save her life.

"The Britney Spears family would like to publicly apologize to Larry for our daughter's statements about him over the past few weeks. Unfortunately, she blames him and her family for where she is at today with her kids and career. Larry has always been there for Britney. For this, we will forever be grateful to him."

Britney Spears, in response, issued the following statement, "I am praying for my father. We have never had a good relationship. It's sad that all the men that have been in my life do not know how to accept a real woman's love. I am concentrating on my work and my life right now."

A friend tells PageSix Britney Spears was embarrassed to be sent to rehab when she was merely suffering post-partum depression: "(She) had no drugs in her system when britney spears wallpaper was admitted to Promises - they (tested her) and there was nothing. She was embarrassed she had to go in there when she knew she was suffering from postpartum depression, not a drug or alcohol problem."
